Fourth Anglo Polish Christmas Concert at RAF Church on the Strand

In it's fourth year, the Anglo-Polish Charity Christmas Concert - Carol of the Bells - A Polish Christmas Night goes from strength to strength. This year it will take place at the majestic St Clement Danes Churchon the Strand on Friday, 5th December 2014.

It will be sung in English and Polish by the Ave Verum Choir (directed by Jerzy Pockert) and for the second year by Schola Gregoriana (directed by Przemysław Salamoński) with guest soloist Maciek O’Shea, who is a member of the Chapel Royal Choir. This year's guest readers include Kasia Madera, the BBC World New Presenter and all readings are in English, and the concert welcomes guests from all nationalities and religions.

Carol of the Bells

Patrons The Earl of St Andrews and Field Marshall the Lord Guthrie are expected to attend as well as The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Mr Witold Sobkow and Greg Hands, MP. All money raised is in aid of the Polish Association of the Knights of Malta's Hospital in Barczewo, which is dedicated to the long-term treatment of patients requiring constant and specialised care while recovering from strokes and car accidents.

The concert runs from 7pm to 10pm with one interval. Tickets cost £20 in advance and £25 on the door, under 16's a free and a glass of hot toddy is included.
