SMOM Dame Anita Meeson-Kielanowska celebrates birthday

Anita Meeson-Kielanowska, nee Illakowicz, Dame of the Order of Malta (ZPKM), Vice Chairman of the Polish Association in London, celebrated her 80th birthday on Friday 17th April 2015 with family, friends and fellow members and volunteers of the Order.

The evening was warm, merry and even sunny. Przemek Salamonski added to the occasion with his wonderful piano talent; Happy Birthday and Sto lat were sung by all and the Veuve Clicquot popped and glasses raised.
 
Proud mother of Joanna and Jeremy, loved grandmother of three, Anita continues the work of her husband Dr Andrew Meeson-Kielanowski (KM) for the Order, always willing and available to help and much appreciated for the invaluable work she does, particularly in those critical moments, of which there are many,
 
Anita is a regular participant in the Order's annual pilgrimages to Lourdes as well as being an active member of the APKM (UK) in London for many years.

Anita became a Dame of Honour and Devotion in 2004.
