Visit of HE President Andrzej Potworowski of The Polish Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta to London
HE Andrzej Potworowski, President of The Polish Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta visited London on 14th May 2011, in order to take part in the SMOM decorations of members of APKM and its volunteers group. The event was held in the Sikorski Museum, London, followed by an official lunch held at the Ognisko Polskie in Exhibition Road.
The following APKM members, volunteers and hard working supporters were decorated by the President of The Polish Association:
1. Cross with Crown Pro Mertito Melitensi (Joanna Meeson)
2. Officers Cross Pro Mertito Melitensi (Dr. Andrew Meeson and Dr. Marek Stella-Sawicki)
3. Cross Pro Mertito Melitensi (Teresa Stella-Sawicka)
4. Cross Pro Mertito Melitensi (Robert Morrisson Atwater)
5. Cross with Swords Pro Mertito Melitensi (Maj.Gen. John Drewienkiewicz and Col. Richard Ciaglinski)
6. Silver Medal Pro Mertito Melitensi (Clara Anderson, Monika Bojarska, Silke Lohman, Jaroslaw Garlinski, Rafal Heydel-Mankoo, Jacek Korzeniowski, Michael Moszynski and Dr. Krzysztof Stolinski)
The event went very smoothly and it achieved its wide ranging objectives.
Madame Ambassador of RP in London HE Barbara Tuge –Erecinska had a special Malta decoration that was presented to her in Warsaw, by the SMOM Ambassador to Poland HE Mr.Vincenzo Manno.
